Week

For week one and we took a nice walk through of our studio. Over the summer break we got some nice new equipment and new exciting things coming to ceramics. Brian showed a small 3-D printer was. I’m super excited to start ceramics the semester. The first assignment that we were given was to make five mugs and we’re working on handle techniques. I’m excited about working on the wheel, And mastering how to make cylinders and bowls. I’m hoping to get really good on the wheel this semester. We also get to make clay On her own this semester and it kind of scares me but if Brian helps me make it I’m sure I’ll be able to make it. And I’m doing a group with Dan and I think were using fire Clay so this will be very exciting. I’m looking forward to this semester hopefully I will get to use new combinations of glaze. Which is really exciting I love to use glazes in the way that they make your pieces turn out. I’m really excited to do the goblets that we talked about in class so they’ll be updates about that. but it will be supper fun and relaxing to do.
