It is the last week of sharing my work in class today. So I am going to update you on how my projects are going. And what is done and what is not. So I have my homegrown project completely done it’s been glazed and fired their pictures below. I have my influence him peace completely done. It’s been painted and spray-painted. Their pictures below. And I have glaze half of my self-directed project. I just have four plates to go and a tortilla holder I am I just finished closing half of the last project which was the two bowls in the 4 cups and now I just have to do the four plates in the tortilla holder and I am done. They’ll have to be glazed and clear glaze. So it won’t take me long I’m just waiting for my teacher to email me back to let me know that the kill is done firing. I am super excited to finish this ceramic semester with a bang.And having everything finished and ready to go home Friday is the last day for glazing so I’m hoping she emails me back today and I can get down there if that’s done and get it fixed if not I am I don’t know kind of worried.

This week I have got my first two projects done. The home groan project has been glazed and fired. The second project has been glazed fired and painted as shown in the pictures above. I really like how much the paint popped on it. Now I have to find A plane to come over and go seek to eat and drink that music shining.This week is the wet we were cut off week so everything has to be on the shelf by Friday I really want to make a cookie a holder for my fiancé because my cats broke his last night. But I’m hopping to get it done by Friday I think I will be able is what color I will glaze it thought I might just put on there that she Quito‘s and make it like orange color or something since we are getting married I can get it to him as a wedding gift. I feel like that would mean something to him. And he can keep it forever and carve out SB+MC I think he would really like that.but I’m super excited to see how it turns out. But I’m sad it’s already wet were cut off.

So update for this week I have got my plates done they’re ready to go get fired. I have finished one bowl. And I’m gonna start making the mugs and the glass bowl this week. Coming up I’m super excited for them to be fired so I can see the colors I’m hoping and praying that none of them break in the firing process especially the plate since it’s my first time making them I’m really excited to start painting on my second project with the two artists it is been glazed and ready to be fired and then I’ll be able to paint on it. Hopefully when I come in on Monday high everything that I have has been fired is what I’m hoping for. I’m excited to get my mugs going and get them put together in on a roll because I need to get them painted. The wet wear put offers in one week. The pressure is on. But I’m loving the colors of my flights that are shown below and the ball I am obsessed with the dripping him. I also went to a Mexican store in study there a Mexican heritage Bowls that they had their first for sale. So hopefully everything turns out good.

This week I have a finish glazing my second project and it’s looking good once it’s fired I will paint it with hand paint. I also have waiting on my homegrown project to come out of the kill or to get fired it’s ready and done once it’s fired. I have started working on my last project and I am as you see below are the plates that I have started working on him I started to paint on them and see how I like them I’m not sure if I’m going to stick with the sunflower on all four or just a sunflower on one and change it up . I am super excited to finish this project I am going to use lots of colors I have one bowl completed but not colored or anything it’s just been molded. I am excited to get the colors on here and see how they turn out. Next week I am hoping to have my mugs completed and another bowl. And I will start paining the plates more and hopefully I’ll have them done I want to go to Kentucky mud Works and get some glaze bright colored glaze I’m excited about that.

The pictures above what I’ve been working on last week and this week. I have glazed my home group project and I’m getting ready to fire my project where I work with who are just trying to compare to their work and make something of my own. I am super excited to get it fired and glaze so I can get it painted and spray some kind of adhesive on it. I am super excited to start working on my third projectI want to make a bunch of Mexican colored style tradition vessels such as a plates and bowls and cups and mugs. I also want to make a full set of them and hopefully they get colored in and properly and fired I’m super excited for this. But we’re cut off is in two weeks I’m hoping I can get all this done within two weeks. So I’m super excited to work on this project and finish the rest of the semester with a bang hopefully with all the colors.

This week I started on my second project and I have combine two artist and I’ve decided to make a flower pot. That has like branches coming around it. I plan on painting it the colors of the painting artist that I mentioned in my earlier blogs. I am super excited to start painting it I’m getting ready to. Hopefully next week I can give you updated pictures of paint on it. I also i’m ready to glaze my homegrown project with the pots and pans and bowls I am waiting for them to come out of the kill. And then I get to glaze them I’m super excited I’m hoping the colors turn out the way I want them to. I am hoping that my other glaze all jokes have come out of the kill and see how they look.

This week I have finished my homegrown project and below are pictures of how it turned out I am super excited and super happy about how my muffin pan down pan turned out it turned out a lot better than I thought it was going to. I am I’m excited to start the new projects. Comparing the two artist together. I am excited to also glaze and fire my green where of the spoon bowl and Frying pan. This project I am working on a new arm design between the two artist I packed. My object that I am making is like a vase with tree branches hanging around it. I am excited to figure out how I’m going to paint this object to look like the work artist his work I’ve picked it after. I am super excited to show you guys my homegrown project because I feel like I did pretty well with this. I also got my cardbox fired for the first project I did this semester. So I’m excited to show you that it’ll be in the pictures below and I am going to make a new ceramic piece of my wiener dogs foot because I’ve did my other two dogs that I have. And I’ll show pictures of those as well.

This week I have finished my pan and muffin pan. They are on campus and I for got to take a picture. But some below there are pictures of the mold I use to make them. I will start on project two to day down be low are my sketches for project two. I’m excited to start this project and I can’t wait to talk about my sketches with My teacher. I am wanting to work with the tow artist Peter N. Van Gienen for colors and use some of his style painting and the work would be by the clay body inspired by Betty woodman. She make unique jugs and pitchers. I think these two people will make a good project and they both are what I like color and objects. I think to come binding the to will make a great project. I can’t wait to work with colors. I really like working with color it make my art have life. I am a very happy person and the color make a happy look so I think this project will be good for me and look good I hope. But we will see how everything works out hopefully for that good.

This week I have finished painting my card box that I made and I have started on my bowl for my homegrown project. I have molded it and it’s turned out really well I’ve also put on I design on the ball and I smooth out the edges and around. I’ve also made a spoon. Today I’m going to work on making a bread pan and a frying pan. I’m really nervous about making the muffin pan I’m hoping it’ll turn out the way I want it to I’m also working on a frying pan which I think that’ll be the easiest one out of the muffin pan in the frying pan. I hope to accomplish my goals I am. I’m kind of worried about the bread pan though. Hopefully it’ll turn out and everything will be good. I am getting ready to work on my spoon and give it some detail before him I start on my frying pan and muffin pans. I am super excited for hi seeing how my card box is going to fire up and look after I glaze it and I’m excited to fire my bow and glaze it. Hoping to be able to have everything done and complete by a certain time this week or next.

So I have him did three sketches for my project. I would like to do a bowl that has dog toys all over it. Every time I come home there’s dog toys all over the house so reminds me of home. I don’t know if I wanna do like a vase shape or like a bowl. Here is my sketches down below. I had three ideas one was the dog bowl that I talk to you about the other one was like building a tree I have a tree that I put In my mothers yard I planted it when I was little I thought about making a tree. I also thought about making a him broken object that tells a story. Am I also thought about making tools because I worked my dad a lot on cars and stuff and we were always working on cars house whatever you could think of probably we were doing it up I also thought about making some thing like a cooking pans because I used to cook for my dad all the time I’ve make him breakfast every morning until I got my own house. I love working with my dad and cooking for him that was my big things that I love to do when I was a kid.
